Move stock
Move a quantity between spots within your work location, or move several scanned units at once.
Moving stock records its new position so searches, counts and picks use the correct spot.
Move a quantity
- Open the product and choose Move (Choose a new location).
- Under From, choose the spot where the stock is now.
- Under Target spot, choose the new spot; you can also scan its barcode.
- Enter the Quantity to move and confirm.
If your location has no other spot, the app says There are no other active Spots in this Location. First create spots on the floor plan.
Move several units with the scanner
On the scan page, enable Move mode for a spot. The page shows Move mode · B-11 and Scan items for this location. Scan the tags or codes, then confirm with Move 12 to B-11.
Unique units and containers
- Move one EPC from EPC details with Move.
- Move a whole pallet or roll cage with its contents from container details. The contents move in the same action.
Between locations. Move works within your work location. Stock going to another location is handled through an order or by an administrator.
Moves do not appear in the product’s stock history. Find them in the activity log under Inventory.
