Navigate Beam Mobile
The sidebar on tablets and desktops, the phone menu, search and the settings menu.
Beam Mobile adapts its navigation to your screen. Tablets and desktops have a sidebar on the left; phones use a menu at the top.
Tablet and desktop: the sidebar
The sidebar has three sections.

Your working location sits between Organisation and Location, under You are working in. Tap it to switch. Items you do not have permission to access are hidden.
Phone: the menu
- Tap the menu icon at the top left. Menu opens with the prompt Choose a section.
- Choose a section. The current section is labelled Current.
The button at the top right opens Insights or your personal settings. The organisation name in the middle opens the settings menu.
Home
Home is your starting screen for each location. It shows what needs attention: You have 2 urgent and 3 other items requiring attention. Each card has one action, such as Start picking, Start receiving, Resume receiving, Open task or Continue counting. When there is nothing to do, it says Your work list is empty. Pull down to refresh.
Search with ⌘K
On a desktop, press ⌘ K (Mac) or Ctrl K (Windows) to open Search. Enter a name, order number or EPC. Results are grouped under Actions, Go to, Items, Orders, Counts and EPCs. With no search term, you see Pinned, Recent and Shortcuts, such as Start scan, New order and Start count.
Search works within your working location, so it is not available in Insights or the Activity log.
The settings menu
Open the settings menu through Settings in the sidebar or the organisation name on a phone. It contains Switch organisation, Insights, Activity log, Workspace, Personal settings, Devices, App preferences, Company, team members and Sign out.
