Pick along a walking route
Route view guides you across the floor plan, stop by stop, showing distance, time and handling requirements for each product.
In route view, you follow a route across the floor plan instead of picking from a list. Each stop shows what to collect there.
Before you start
- Your working location has a floor plan with locations and a configured walking route.
- Choose Map-guided route in Pick settings, or switch between List and Route at the top.
Follow the route
- The map shows the route from the depot through all stops. Progress at the top shows Step 3 of 8.
- The current stop appears on the map with a location callout. The strip below shows the location, 8 stops · current stop 3 and estimates of ≈ 40 m and ~ 2 min.
- The card below shows the product with Pick 2. For an RFID product, it also shows Scan this product and Waiting for RFID scan.
- Pick or scan, then use the arrow to move to the next stop.
At the end of the route, the app takes you to the destination; see pick an order.
Handling requirements
Special handling requirements appear at the stop: Fragile, Keep upright, Two-person lift, Pallet truck required or Reach truck required. An administrator records these on the product.
Distance and time
The route estimate is broken down into Walking, Picking, Map change, Return to depot and To final destination. If a stop could not be placed on the floor plan, the app explains: Not every stop could be placed on the floor plan — totals are a lower bound.
No route? Without a floor plan or walking route, the app falls back to the list sorted by Location walking route.
