Do I need to provide my own SIM card?

You can use your own SIM card or order the router with a managed data SIM. The managed SIM option includes a data plan and is billed monthly, so you do not need to arrange a separate mobile contract.

Can it connect multiple devices at once?

Yes. The router has 4 Ethernet ports and creates a WiFi network, so you can connect multiple Beam devices, RFID readers, printers and other hardware simultaneously.

What happens if the 4G signal drops?

The dual SIM failover automatically switches to the backup SIM if the primary connection fails. If both SIMs lose signal, the router reconnects as soon as coverage returns. No manual intervention needed.

Is it suitable for outdoor or cold storage use?

The router operates from -40°C to 75°C, making it suitable for cold storage, outdoor areas and extreme environments. The IP30 rating is for indoor use, but it can be placed in a weatherproof enclosure for outdoor installations.

Can I manage the router remotely?

Yes. Teltonika's RMS cloud platform allows you to monitor, configure and update the router from anywhere. You can check connection status, change settings, and push firmware updates without being on site.
