The Lintrak Textile RFID Tag is designed to survive 200+ industrial wash cycles at temperatures up to 85°C. It is also resistant to common laundry detergents and solvents used in industrial washing.
How do I attach the tags to textiles?
The tags are attached using a standard heat/press machine. Place the tag on the fabric, apply heat and pressure, and the tag bonds permanently. No sewing required. The process takes just a few seconds per item.
Can the tag be read through stacked linen?
Yes. The Impinj M730 inlay provides good read performance even through multiple fabric layers. Combined with a Beam handheld scanner, you can count stacks of linen without unpacking them.
Is this tag suitable for workwear rental?
Absolutely. The Lintrak tag is widely used in workwear rental, hospitality linen and healthcare textile services. It tracks each garment through wash, inventory and delivery cycles automatically.
What equipment do I need to apply these tags?
You need a standard heat/press machine, which is common in laundry and textile operations. No special RFID equipment is needed for attachment. For reading the tags, any UHF RFID scanner or the Beam handheld works perfectly.
