Frequently asked questions
Does the UR4 include antennas and cables?
No. The UR4 includes the reader and power cables. Antennas, antenna cables and Ethernet cables are selected separately for the scanning zone.
What is the difference between UR4 and UR1A?
UR4 is a 4-port reader for external antennas. UR1A has an integrated antenna and is aimed at simpler fixed read points.
Do I need Beam Bridge?
For continuous cloud-connected scanning with Beam, yes. The Beam Bridge connects the fixed reader setup to the Beam platform.
Compatibility is only the beginning.
A reader’s ability to connect does not prove that every tag can be read reliably in every environment. That is why hardware, tags, products, read zones, volumes and exceptions are tested together before any performance commitment becomes part of the scope.
