No fixed printer station needed. Carry the ZQ521 on your belt or shoulder and print labels right where you are. On the warehouse floor, at the receiving dock, or in the field. Connects directly to the Beam app on your mobile device.
The ZQ521 is MIL-STD 810G certified and built for the real world. IP54 rated against dust and water, drop-tested to survive 2-meter falls, and tumble-tested (1,300 tumbles at 1m). The 3,250 mAh battery lasts a full shift, with an extended 4,900 mAh option available.
No. The ZQ521 connects directly to the Beam app via WiFi or Bluetooth. No Print Bridge is required. This makes it the simplest printer to set up. Just pair it with your device and start printing.
The standard 3,250 mAh battery provides all-day use under normal printing conditions. For intensive use or extended shifts, the 4,900 mAh extended battery option is available. The printer can also be charged via USB-C while in use.
The ZQ521 supports labels up to 4.09 inches (104mm) wide. It is a 4-inch class printer. It uses direct thermal printing, so no ribbons are needed. Just load the label roll and print. Ideal for shipping labels, barcode labels, and receipt printing.
The ZQ521 is MIL-STD 810G certified and tested to survive 2-meter drops to concrete, plus 1,300 tumbles at 1 meter. With IP54 protection against dust and water, it handles the bumps and conditions of everyday warehouse, retail, and field use.
The standard ZQ521 does not have RFID, but Zebra offers the ZQ521R variant with built-in UHF RFID encoding. For dedicated RFID label printing, you can also consider the SATO CT4-LX or CL4NX.
A reader’s ability to connect does not prove that every tag can be read reliably in every environment. That is why hardware, tags, products, read zones, volumes and exceptions are tested together before any performance commitment becomes part of the scope.
