How fast does the portal detect items?
The portal detects and reads all RFID tags instantly as they pass through typically hundreds of items in under 2 seconds, even on a full pallet or cart.
Does this work with our ERP/WMS?
Yes. The Beam RFID Portal integrates with all major ERP and WMS systems via REST API. We sync data in real time or in batches based on your preference.
What happens during network drop?
The portal stores all scans locally and automatically syncs when the connection is restored. No data is lost and operations continue uninterrupted.
How wide should the passage be?
The portal supports passages from 80 cm to 300 cm wide. We configure the system based on your dock door or passage dimensions.
What is the installation time?
Typical installation takes 4-8 hours. Most customers are operational within one business day, including calibration and testing.
